All things come to an end, same as for the Creative Gaming Challenge - Digital Experience Call of Duty 4 Tournament! The tournament started with 32 teams, but can only end with 3 prizewinners.

The playoffs are finally here for the Creative Gaming Challenge - Digital Experience tournament! It is time to move on to the Double-Elimination bracket of the playoffs.

Match arranging
We only give one deadline this time.This deadline is for the whole course from round 1 till the Finals. The-CGC has set the target on the 20th of October You need to arrange your matches as soon as you can, without your war, other opponents can not play their next warround. It is your own responsibility to arrange the match asap, the faster you arrange them, the faster the prizes can be distributed!

So be sure to arrange your matches a.s.a.p. When you arranged one, give the date to eXtreme(me), the Head-Admin of the tournament. I can be contacted on mIRC in #the-cgc or by email: extreme (at) kaos-eu (dot) com !

This Monday we had the last matches for the groupstages. The playoffs will be announced before the end of this week, so stay tuned!

During the Groupstages, some teams folded and that is why you might have received some forfeit-wins in your group. But that part is over, the battle for the prizes has only just begun.

Only 16 teams will continue to the Playoffs and these will be the top2 from each Group. So if you want to know if you are through, just find it out yourself here and check out your group.

Due to certain restriction we can only give away 2 firstlook (WCG final tickets) to dutch or belgian residents. Sorry for the inconvenience.

KaoS Contingency is op het moment bezig met de bouw van hun eigen Gamecenter, wat tevens ook gebruikt word als thuisbasis van Stichting KaoS. Dit Gamecenter is gelokaliseerd in Weesp, op korte afstand van Amsterdam, Hilversum, Almere en omstreken.

Één van de doelen van Stichting KaoS is om de eSports in de Benelux te verbeteren, daarom organiseren wij een leuke prijsvraag om de community bij dit project te betrekken. Wat zit er voor jou in?
Zoals je eerder hebt kunnen lezen wint de naam die wij tot winnaar kiezen twee toegangskaarten naar het Firstlook Event. De naam die gekozen is zal daadwerkelijk ook gebruikt worden als naam voor het Gamecenter.

Tegelijkertijd krijg jij door jou inzending ook een gratis uitnodiging tot de opening ceremonie van het gamecenter. Hierbij zijn er wat gratis goodies te krijgen (die verloot worden) en ook gratis gamecenter uren.

Wanneer weten we wie er gewonnen heeft?
De winnaar zal 18 september bekend worden gemaakt op www.kaos-eu.com. De persoon in kwestie zal op die dag ook gebeld worden om te melden dat hij gewonnen heeft.

Yesterday the first warweek of the Tournament started and will end the 31st of August. Be sure to be in your matchchannel on time!

The first match for the tournament has been scheduled for tonight at 21.00CET.

Warweek 2 - Match Arranging
Warweek 1 just got started, but the enddate for arranging matches for warweek 2 is also known for some time. By this you need to get your matches for Warweek 2 scheduled before the 31st of August. If you have not scheduled the match by then, the match will be forced to a date that we pick.

Warweek 1 will start the 24th of August and ends the 31st of August. In this week the matches from the first round have to be played.

To see to what opponent you need to play, just go here or press on the "Digital Experience" button under the Standings section on the right side of the page!

Today we also have sent reminder-emails to the teamleader of each team containing some other important information too!

The end-date for arranging matches will be the 23rd of August, if you have not arranged a match with your opponent by this date, your match will be forced to a date chosen by a cup-admin.

How to get in contact with your opponent? Here are a few possibilities:
Just join our mIRC channel, PM the teamleader with the Message system on the CGC site or make a forumpost in the CGC Forum.

What to do when you arranged a match?
Message a Cup-Admin of the CGC in our mIRC channel or send an email over to one of the admins. In your email also stands what Cup-Admin will be there during the match.

Groups
As said before, today or tomorrow would the groups come online from the Digital - Experience Call of Duty 4 tournament.

As you can see we have fallen back to 32 teams, as a few teams fell out during the process or just simply folded. There will be now 8 poules again with 4 teams each. The top2 of each poule will continue to the playoffs.

Warweeks
You could read before that the first warweek would start the 17th of August, but also in this is a little shifting now but also is better for you, as you got more time now to arrange the first match with your opponent. The warweeks will be devided as followed:
Warweek 1: 24th of August - 31st of August
Warweek 2: 1st of September - 8th of September
Warweek 3: 9th of September - 16th of September

The cupadmins must be informed a maximum of 1 day before the warweek starts, for example: Warweek 1 is from the 24th till the 31st, the matchdate must be given to an admins the 23rd max. If this has not happend, the matchdate will be forced by a cupadmin.

Match arranging
You can use mIRC, email etc etc to get in contact with your opponent. Teamleaders will receive +v in #the-cgc, so you know who you need to contact on mIRC. You can also make use of the message-system and the forum on the CGC site. When a match is arranged, you need to inform a Cup-Admin about it!
